Mike and Kate met in 2013, (or maybe 2012,) when Kate walked into a tattoo shop on St Marks Place in NYC with a sketchbook. Mike looked her up and down and said, “you look like you could use a job.”
Long story short, they were married in 2016.
With over 20 years’ combined experience, they pride themselves on their devotion to the two things that matter most: family, and their craft.
They spend their free time at home with their daughter and four cats.

MikeMike began tattooing in the early 2000's. A native New Yorker, (and proud of it,) Mike cut his teeth tattooing in the West Village and the Lower East Side.
Mike doesn’t have a particular preference on style, as he says, "tattooing is tattooing.” He does enjoy weird and surreal subject matter, no matter the style. See what he means, here. Mike’s favorite bands include Melvins, Faith No More, and Clutch. Days of touring in bands and bouncing at bars behind him, he’s now a homebody and a family man, and he likes watching baseball and relaxing with a cold (non-alcoholic) beer. |
KateKate has been an artist her entire life and a professional tattooer for over ten years. Her artistic interests focus on the art movements of the early 20th century, from folk art to art nouveau.
Kate specializes in and prefers American Traditional. Check out her tattoos here. Kate is a music nerd, and some of her favorite bands are the Dead Boys, Oingo Boingo, and the Beastie Boys. She loves baking, crosswords, and going to museums, all while juggling her tattoo career and her full time job of being Mom. |
